WeatherValet is a weather service built on one rule: no AI-written weather text ever reaches you signed by a human.

Why we exist

Weather apps are very good at telling you a number and very bad at telling you what to do. A 40% chance of rain is true and useless when you have 140 guests, a rented tent, and a ceremony at four.

So we built two things. Software that relays official National Weather Service warnings to one exact address, quietly, until the moment it matters. And a way to hire an actual Meteorologist for a day, a series, or every day, who writes to you in plain language and signs their name to it.

The rules we hold ourselves to

  • No AI-written weather text signed by a person. Our free forecast is AI and says so. Our automated summaries say so. Everything else is written by a Meteorologist.
  • We relay official warnings, we do not rewrite them. National Weather Service text goes through unchanged.
  • We never predict what a venue will do. Delays, evacuations and resumptions are decided by the people running the event. We report weather.
  • We never promise a message will arrive. Carriers, coverage and congestion are outside anyone's control, and our terms say so plainly.
  • We are not a replacement for official warnings. If the Weather Service issues one, that comes first, always.

Where we are

WeatherValet is based in Indiana and watches addresses anywhere in the country. Our Meteorologist coverage starts where our Meteorologists live, because nowcasting is local and a stranger to your market will get the timing wrong.
